1. Who we are

alfrescolivingtech.com ("this site", "we", "us") is operated by Barry Western, trading as Alfresco Living, in the United Kingdom.

2. This is a content site, not a shop

We do not sell products. There is no basket, no checkout, no account and no payment handling on this site. Every purchase you make through a product link happens on a third-party retailer's website, under that retailer's terms, and your contract is with them.

The one service we provide ourselves is local hot tub hire. Hire bookings are made on WhatsApp and are covered by our separate Hot Tub Hire Terms.

3. Affiliate links

This site is funded by affiliate commission and contains affiliate links to Amazon, eBay and AWIN partners. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Full details are on our Affiliate Disclosure page, which forms part of these terms.

4. Information, not advice

The content here is general information about garden products and outdoor living. It is not professional advice and must not be relied on as such. In particular:

• Electrical work. Permanent outdoor electrical installation in the UK is notifiable work. Use a qualified, registered electrician.
• Hot tubs, spas and pools. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on base construction, loading, water chemistry and supervision of children.
• Fire. Fire pits, barbecues and heaters carry obvious risks. Observe clearances, never leave them unattended, and check local rules and your tenancy or lease.

We accept no liability for loss or damage arising from action taken on the basis of information on this site, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

5. Accuracy and availability

We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we make no warranty that it is complete, current or error-free. Product availability, specification and price are set by retailers and change without notice. We may change or withdraw any part of the site at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

6. Intellectual property

The text, layout, photography and design of this site are owned by us or used with permission, and are protected by copyright. You may read, print and share pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, sell or systematically copy any part of the site without our written permission. Third-party trade marks and product names belong to their respective owners.

7. Links to other sites

We link to third-party websites. We have no control over their content, terms or privacy practices, and their inclusion does not imply endorsement of everything they publish. You follow those links at your own risk.

8. Cookies, analytics and your data

We use cookies for affiliate attribution and, if you consent, for analytics. Analytics scripts are not loaded unless you press "Accept" on the cookie banner; pressing "Reject" means none are loaded.
